Frequently Asked Questions
-
Our puppies are priced at $3,500. We require a $500 deposit to join our reservation list and secure a puppy placement. The deposit is applied toward the final balance, leaving the remaining balance at $3,000.
Deposits are non-refundable once a specific puppy has been selected and reserved.
This policy exists because once a puppy is officially reserved, we remove that puppy from our available list and stop advertising or accepting additional inquiries for that puppy. If a buyer later decides to back out, that is valuable time lost that could have been used to find another suitable home.
Our deposit policy is designed to ensure that buyers are serious, committed, and fully prepared for the responsibility of owning a Cane Corso. We encourage all families to thoroughly research the breed and carefully consider their decision before placing a deposit.

We are located in Florida and we do offer delivery within the United States. We always try to personally deliver our puppies ourselves, and so far we have been successful in doing so. We prefer to avoid outsourcing to third-party pet transporters whenever possible. However, please note that this may change depending on litter size and our availability, although personal delivery is always our priority.
We do not offer international delivery. If you are located outside of the United States, you will need to arrange transport on your own.
If you are located in Florida, there is no delivery fee. If you are out of state, please use our contact form to request a delivery quote.

We require all potential families to complete our adoption application found on our website. It is important to answer all questions honestly and to the best of your ability, as this helps us understand your experience, lifestyle, and overall readiness for a Cane Corso.
Our application is designed to help us properly match each puppy with the most suitable home. You will be asked to indicate which puppy you are interested in during the application.
If your application aligns with the puppy you selected, and it is approved, you may proceed with finalizing that selection. However, if at the breeder’s discretion we feel that the chosen puppy is not the best fit for your lifestyle, we reserve the right to provide guidance and recommend a different puppy that may be a better match.
Our priority is always responsible placement and ensuring both the puppy and the family are set up for long-term success.

Puppies go to their new homes at 11–12 weeks of age, at the breeder’s discretion. This means that if we need to keep a puppy longer due to veterinary appointments, procedures such as ear cropping, or any other health or developmental needs, we reserve the right to do so.
We choose to keep our puppies longer than the standard 8 weeks because we believe the additional time with their mother, littermates, and other dogs in our home is extremely important for their early development, confidence, and social skills.

At G’s Kennel, we prioritize quality over profit. We focus on ethical breeding practices, including limiting the number of litters we produce. Since we started, we have only had one litter per year, which allows us to dedicate more time, energy, and attention to each puppy.
Because we focus on fewer litters, we are able to give each puppy our full attention, maintaining clean, structured environments and providing consistent care throughout their development.
We ensure all procedures, such as tail docking and ear cropping, are completed by a reputable, licensed veterinarian rather than at home or through lower-quality services.
Every puppy goes home with a health certificate and full veterinary clearance from a licensed vet, ensuring they are healthy and ready for their new families.
We also go above and beyond for our families by offering our well-known puppy going-home baskets as a thank you for choosing us, along with continued support and guidance as your puppy grows.

AKC Registration:
We provide pre-registration and handle the AKC registration process for you. This includes the transfer of ownership directly into your name. This sets us apart, as many breeders simply provide paperwork and require buyers to complete and pay for registration themselves.Health Certificate:
All puppies are accompanied by a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian, confirming they are healthy and ready for their new homes. In order to receive this certificate, each puppy undergoes a full physical examination, a fecal exam, and receives their first round of vaccinations. The certificate ensures:The puppy is free from infectious and communicable diseases
The puppy is free from internal and external parasites
The puppy has not been exposed to rabies or any quarantined areas
Veterinary Procedures Included:
Tail docking, ear cropping, and dewclaw removal are all performed by a licensed veterinarian and are included in the price at no additional cost.Puppy Going-Home Basket:
Each puppy goes home with our signature puppy basket as a thank you, which includes essentials and small gifts to help them settle into their new home. -
All procedures are performed by licensed veterinarians at Animal Medical Center of Brooksville. We prioritize safe, professional veterinary care and do not perform these procedures at home.
-
Yes, of course. However, it is important to note that tail docking and dewclaw removal are typically done at approximately 3 days of age, and must be requested and confirmed in advance.
Ear cropping is performed at around 10 weeks of age, and must also be requested and confirmed prior to the procedure being completed.
If you choose to opt out of these procedures, please note that the full payment for the puppy is required upfront once your puppy is reserved, and it is non-refundable if you decide to back out.
Please also note that tail docking, dewclaw removal, and ear cropping are only performed under the care and supervision of G’s Kennel through our licensed veterinary partners. If you choose to decline these procedures, they cannot be performed at a later time by the Buyer or any third party once the puppy leaves our care.

While we provide a health certificate and veterinary clearance before your puppy goes home, we also require new owners to take responsibility for confirming their puppy’s condition with their own licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup or delivery.
This policy protects both the buyer and the breeder by documenting the puppy’s health condition shortly after entering its new environment and before exposure to outside illnesses or conditions.
The 72-hour veterinary examination is standard practice and is important for several reasons:
It helps validate the health guarantee included in our contract
It confirms the puppy arrived healthy and in good condition
It helps separate breeder responsibility from illnesses or injuries that may occur after the puppy leaves our care
It ensures the puppy begins veterinary care with its new family as soon as possible
Once a puppy leaves our home, it may become exposed to outside environments, other animals, public spaces, or illnesses beyond our control. This policy helps provide clear documentation and protection for both parties.
